Fave Reviews: E.Zone After the whole Circuit Breaker my body was aching for a massage. So i got a Fave voucher for E.Zone, for a full body massage at Tampines MRT. Booking for an appointment was easy but once I reached the outlet, they wanted me to wait for... 20 minutes as the room was not ready. The walls were thin and you can literally hear water pipes running in the treatment room so I would say if you want to fall asleep during your massage, it is impossible here. The masseur was dressed in her own clothes and she wasn't really putting in effort for the massage. On the bright side, they didn't really try to hard sell because I wanted to leave the place asap. Overall, I would say you are really paying for what you will get. I didn't expect much as I just needed a massage and there was one in Tampines. If you are particular about your massages, I won't recommend this place. Annabel attended to me and she was really patient and I had a great time learning more about the products. Generally, the products are all/mostly water based. Thus it is not sticky/greasy after application. Orchid extract is also infused in most of their products (as per their name), which acts as a natural anti-oxidant that moisturizes, soothes and conditions our skin. I received the very popular Moisture TOK TOK Hand Cream, Crystal Aqua Sleeping Pack and Apple Soft Peeling Gel bundle pack. Moisture Tok Tok Hand Cream ($7.50) Unlike the normal hand creams, this hand cream is water-based gel and it turns into hydrating water droplets upon application! I'm not really a fan of hand creams (tho i receive a lot of hand creams as gifts) as I don't like it when my hands turn super oily and sticky.... Not ideal when you wanna work and your whole keyboard will be sticky as well... ew. So for this hand cream, your hands will not be sticky/oily after application. yay. Crystal Aqua Sleeping Pack ($21.50) I think this is the best one yet, it is a water-based sleeping mask. It is absolutely not sticky at all - so no more sticky feeling when you apply your sleeping mask and you feel your pillow absorbing the mask more than your face. When I woke up, my face was smooth, moisturized and refreshed. Unlike some other mask which I applied and my face was still sticky the day after. :( Apple Soft Peeling Gel ($13.50) I looooove peeling masks! Feels so good removing all the dead skin on my face but do note that it is not recommended to use peeling mask/gels everyday. Use it every other day or every 3 days. With apple extract in this gel, it helps to remove dead cells with natural AHA formula to provide a clean and vitalised skin. It may also be used on other parts of your body! Back to another nail salon from Fave, Kimiyo-G. I bought the Gel Manicure with Return Soak-Off + Classic Pedicure for 1 Person (2 Sessions) link here which was super cheap at like $38? And because my previous fave coupon was 'cancelled' as the salon went MIA, I got credits refunded so I only paid $10.50 for the coupon.
They have quite a number of outlets that you are able to redeem the session, I went to Eastpoint mall at Simei. I booked the session but I still had to wait a little when I was there, I waited for about like half an hour more but I was ok with waiting. The selection was quite standard, and by standard is like the selection you can get from HDL lol. However, I would say the service is quite good and there was wifi provided. They weren't that pushy with their packages and no hard selling. As there was 2 sessions, I went to Changi Airport outlet for my second session at 9.30pm. The appointment was quite hard to book, most of the outlets were full when I wanted to do my nails. And you also had to book another a session just for soak off as well, which i thought was kinda stupid. But it is was ok, and I actually preferred this salon out of the many that I went for my nails! FLASH SALE: Phi Phi Islands & Khai Islands 1 Day Tour by Speedboat (+Lunch/Snorkeling) - from Phuket
This is NOT sponsored, you can see my review on the page itself too. (yes I copied and paste) :)
Choose this package as it was the cheapest i could find online. The driver came and pick us up on time but there wasn’t a text/WA the day before even though i provided my number. Pick up time was long and took around an hour to reach the pier. Waited for more people to come and was wondering do we really need to reach so early? Split the mass group of people in two groups and had a small briefing and selling. They are promoting their snorkeling shoes because they will take away your slippers before you board. *Do just keep your slippers yourself, so that you can wear it on the islands* My feet hurts more from stepping on the beaches than sea urchins. (there isn’t that much Sea Urchins, less 10m underwater) They will take a photo of your group before you board the boat, for insurance they said. But you’ll see them selling you at 200baht each photo when you’re back. The boat was filled with too much people in my opinion, with almost no walking space in between. And the ride was bumpy, do pop a sea sick pill that they offer before boarding or you will vomit. The ride was 40-50mins to the first stop (which was just to take photos at Maya Bay) and the next two stops were also just staying in the boat and take photos (The cave and monkey beach). Then we head to Phi Phi Don for lunch, which was quite salty but it was ok. And we had 1-1.5hours here, which i hoped i got my slippers where I can explore the island even more. But it was too hot to walk around we settled for a thai ice milk tea at a cafe instead. Boarded the boat and travelled for another 40mins, stopped some where for snorkeling, which wasn’t that great. (You’ll probably only see 3 types of fishes + sea urchins) It was around 30mins of snorkeling before we stopped at a nearby island for an hour. Once again, wished that I had my slippers. There’s food stalls around so you can get some BBQ seafood and drinks. Or you can just sit in the water and have a school of fishes swimming around you. Travelled another 5 mins back to Phuket and our transfers back to Patong (another 1-1.5hours of travelling). The guide was interesting (thanks minnie) and they serve you water + a shared bottle of coke on the boat. And some fruits when you’re done snorkeling. But the transfers were long and the boat was really packed. The experience could have been better if they had decrease the number of pax in the speedboat by a little. In this post, I'll be reviewing two products from Vely Vely! Sexual Red Matte Tint & Narcissism Air Drawing Lip Pencil. These two product lines will be launched on 10 October, 10am on Waesyo.com!
Much thanks to Waesyo and VelyVely for sending the two products before the launch!
There are three colors in the Matte Tint series, and I received the Sexual Red. It's honestly a color that I love; I have like ... at least five (or more) of lipsticks in this color. :)
The colors are all very bright, so what I do with these kind of colors is that I do not apply the color on my lips fully. But I apply on my inner lower lip and I smudge them with my upper lip. And seriously, this lip tint is legit, one swipe is more than enough. It has a velvety and creamy texture, and it has a matte finishing (as per its name). What is interesting is that it has a Diamond tip, which is good for gradation to full lip coverage.
And I love it because I've dry lips so after applying my dry lips doesn't show. yay. So I've been using it for ... a week or so already.
As for the Air Drawing Lip Pencil, there are five different colors in this line. And I got the color name: Haze. The color is a blend of pinkish and a little of an orange-y tone. Its an auto-pencil, so it has a twist-able base which makes it efficient & a fuss-free application. Its made with Vitamin E, Argan Oil and Rose Hip Oil which keeps your lips healthy.
I love the color, but I don't use this as often as the Matte tint due to my already dry lips. So when I apply this when my lips aren't dry, its ok. But when I apply this when there's literally dead skin on lips, I can't use this. Sobs.
You'll be able to get the newly launched lipsticks on Waseyo.com, Velyvely.com.sg and Watsons Ngee Ann City. The Matte Tint is $27.90 each while the Air Drawing Lip Pencil is priced at $25.90 each. (ps. read below for 10% off for first purchase!)

This series will be me documenting all my experience with
Fave (previously Groupon) deals.
Tried out this studio (Unique Crystal Beauty House) at Bugis cube and it was $55 for two
sessions, with gel manicure and classic pedicure Gel Manicure + Classic Pedicure + Peppermint Scrub + Return Soak-Off + Glitter Tips for Two (2) Nails for 1 Person (2 Sessions). And I had a $5 cashback, so
it is about $25 per session? For both Gel manicure and classic pedicure yay.
It’s not the cheapest studio, now that I realize but it is still super worth
it. Fave has like random cashbacks through fave app ranging from 10-40% every
day, tho they usually cap at $5 per transaction.
I made a reservation and went to Bugis Cube. Honestly, the
place is quite run down. So guess what, the air-condition at that place was
down……. Ok can. Honestly it was ok, because the fan was directly facing me.
The colour choices was okay for both the gel and classic
selections. The service was ok, and they didn’t try to hard sell their packages
to me. But they didn’t tried anything yet because I still had another session.
Tho I would say their gel polish was probably expired or
something because my nails keep breaking when I took off my mascot head for
parades… Like three nails broke off. I thought by doing gel manicures, your
nails are supposed to be stronger? But after I did with them, I think my nails
were softer and weaker, it wasn’t supposed to be like this after a gel
manicure.
So I had the polish on for like about 1.5months-2months
(which was kinda long), it was time to soak off and have my second session. But
hi, guess what. I called their outlet like 5 times throughout different days
and I can’t through. I contacted Fave customer service, and it turned out to be
that the shop was going through renovation and thus the shop is technically
closed. Wow.
I mean like if your calls doesn’t get through after calling
for days and you check fave and they are not selling the deal anymore that
means something is wrong. LOL. But the customer service was real nice, they
refunded me one session worth of credits which was $27.50. (As I brought the
deal with two sessions) They refunded me the amount before cashback so I guess
cashbacks don’t apply to them.

Labels: #joeybeautydiary, Fave, Fave Reviews, Nails, Reviews New Makeup Brand: Colormehappy Cosmetics
Founded by Singaporeans, Christine and Louisa, ColourMehappy lip products are formulated
using Korean technology and ingredients. Product prices ranges from $15-$20 and
shipping is FREE for all subscription packages and lip products purchases.
Have you heard of lipstick subscription
boxes? Well, Colourmehappy offers lip subscription boxes at as low as $12.99
per month! The most #worthit box goes at $30.99/month with three lip products,
which is like around $10 for each product!
Had the honor to meet Louisa in
person, where she handled me her range of lip products as well as to explain each of the product lines in detail! (how sweet) Thanks for the products and time Louisa!
Tried the products for a few months
and here are some top picks of mine:
The Boldlicious HD Lipstick collections comes in 4 rich and high intensity pigments in daring shades. Favourite shade of this collection is the Reddest Rose, which is a color that I will usually wear.
If you think that applying lipstick to your full lips will be too bold/wild, you can always just apply to the inner lips for the ombre look!
If you want a fuller lips for a bolder look, pair it up with their lip pencils, which has some of the same color shade as their lipsticks! ($15 SGD)
Next Pick: XPrecision Lipsticks, Glam Red $20 SGD
Glam Red is another color in the XPrecision Lipstick Collection that I like. It isn't as bold as the other collection but it is more of a glossy lipstick and my lips feels more moisturized. The collection is formulated with Light-Diffusion Technology, which helps to disperses light to help hide little lip cracks and rough spots, while giving a natural glow.
![]()
Interesting Products: Lip Bronzer ($15 SGD)
Well honestly, I have no idea what a Lip Bronzer does. It is glossy and works fine on top lip shades or by itself. However, after a while, your lip will actually feel a hot sensation, so I assume that it actually plumps the lips with each application.
If you want a coloured Lip Gloss, try out their Lip Shimmer range at $15 SGD each!
Save your lips with Lip Night Repair Oil $20 SGD
This night lip oil will make your lips smoother as it eases rough spots and cracks that have formed through the day. As you wake up, you'll feel the difference.
I've cracked and dry lips so I will apply this when I sleep. As the name suggests, it is a oil, so your lips will feel the little sticky-ness. However, my lips did became smoother after application!
There are also other lip products that you can explore on their webpage, visit them here: https://colormehappycosmetics.com
You can also try their lip products at MEGAFASH at Vivocity, Tanjong Pagar and Suntec City.
They are also available at Big Box!
Their colours are of everyday wear, and the quality of the lipsticks are comparable to other big brands in the market. And if you get their subscription boxes, one lip product will only cost you around $10. It is much cheaper than getting them individually!
Check them out now!
xoxo,
Joey

Visited 7th Heaven KTV & Cafe located at SAFRA Tampines, which was fairly new. (cause it wasn't open when I was in TP...)
It houses several private KTV rooms + a big lobby with cafe and open mic singing and a pool table.
The KTV prices wasn't as cheap as Teoheng, which is honestly the best price. But you're able to order cafe food from the KTV straight.
Ordered the salted egg wings ($13.90) and yin-yang pizza with Lychee smoked duck pizza & Salted egg prawn pizza ($21.90). They do not serve plain water so you'll need to order a mineral water. However they do not serve the full size 500ml one, i think it was just 350ml.... Okay can.
The salted eggs was okay, you can literally taste the chopped eggs in the sauce. The Lychee smoked duck pizza was good without the Lychee. Like seriously, if you eat it together it tastes weird. And the Salted egg prawn pizza was nice. As compared to the Lychee smoked duck pizza, it finished first so :).
I would say that it is not as cheap as other KTVs, but if you factor in the food and karaoke then it is okay(?) I guess. Or you can just head there for the food and sit at the lobby listening to other people sing. And depends on your luck, there're people who sing really nice. HAHAHAH

I've been shopping on Taobao ever since 5 years ago and I love how are they so cheap! Considered blogging about how to buy directly from taobao straight, but had ordered something and it went missing. And it was a order for a buyer so even gg.com.
So decided to order from agent and then found 65daigou (now its called ezbuy), which has several delivery options other than home delivery. They have MRT pick up, store collection, etc. And they also provide safe shipping, where they ensure that there is no risk of missing or wrong items.
Also, I love the fact that they have free agent fee days where all users can enjoy no agent fee!
I know there are people who are scared that whatever is on the photo might not be what they receive. So I'm writing this on some shops that I frequent on Taobao.
For Clothes:
They sell super cheap clothes with okay to good quality!
Even if the product that you want is OOS, ezbuy will return you the money you've paid, so no worries.

1. Get from shops with crowns for credibility. However, it is safe to purchase through ezbuy as they will process your refund if product is OOS.
2. Get prime for $2.99 per month through ezbuy if you're buying super heavy items such as furniture, lightings etc. for super worth it shipping rates.

Hello everybody!
So when I said I'm gonna blog about Beauty soon because of all the beauty stuff that I came across while working in the beauty industry, I'm really gonna do it. 🙃
Recently tried out this eye mask from Beauty Idea Diary, 玩美日记 which I bought from Taiwan at a really cheap price. I think it was less than SGD$1 per pair.
It consists of gold (LOL) apparently and Q10 bird nest essense in the mask, and it is supposed to soothe the dark spots around the eye areas.
![]()
Well I have quite bad dark eye circles tho I don't have eye bags. I have tan skin so if I still can see dark eye circles, it can only mean that they're really dark right.
I applied it while I was working and it stays! It doesn't really slide or move around unlike those paper/ thin eye mask. I wanted to say unlike those cheap eye mask, but I remember this was cheap as well. AHAHAHA
.
After like 15-20mins or so, I think my dark eye circles did became better, but it is still visable. But obviously this is not a whitening mask/cream where I can see the effects immediately.
And i forgotten to take a before and after photo oops.
