Korea Trip Day 10: Last Day in Seoul!
So hi, finally I'm at the last day of the Korea trip. HAHAHAHA.
We woke up early and we dragged our luggage, okay maybe only me, across the street to take the airport bus shuttle. But then a cab driver came and asked if we wanted to take his cab for the same price as the bus shuttle. (15, 000 won each) So we were like erm okay. We loaded everything up and we were on our way to the airport before the cab driver decided to pump some petrol and to get a car wash. And their car wash was the automatic washer system!!! Too rare in Singapore nowadays so both Sandra and I were xiao fascinated. We reached and get our luggage checked for the tax thingy shit, and the officers were like, have you checked in... We did our check in on-line so we didn't understand but they checked in for us. Nawww. Went to get some last minute shopping done at the airport, aka Etude house. Legit spent everything in my wallet. Decided to head in to get the tax money back and guess what... The Q is super long... zzzz And there are two different tax system, so I had to Q for two different systems. zzz I think the gate is going to close soon so I was like running around to get my tax money. zzzz But it was worth it cause I got back $250+ worth of money from all the taxes. It's all because of the MCM. And it was the first time that I was running in the airport, rushing to our gate. Now I understand why the Kpop Idols are always running in Incheon Airport. LOL. Luckily we didn't miss our flight, and we had the whole back section to ourselves! There wasn't much people except for us and another pair of girls, so peace and joy. Landed in Hongkong and I have to say I hate HongKong Airport's food section. It's ALWAYS filled with people, and the people will just sit at their table till their flight. So annoying can't they be more considerate? We decided to just nua at our gate, hog the wifi and watch our shows. LOL, hobo much hehehe. Boarded the plane and went back to Singapore~ But I still have my Japan trip, hoseh. Oh well, I'm not going to blog day by day for the Japan trip but I'll spilt them into parts. And I'm heading to Bandung, Indonesia! Stuffs are dirt cheap there, like what escape room for $10 each?! Bitch please in Singapore its like $20+ per person. zzz So till the next post, xoxo

Day 9 and it was the day of min's enlistment.
I wasn't planning to get to Korea for his enlistment, but it was just coincidentally that he's enlisting when I'm in Korea. Must be heaven's will for me to stan him at this time. /rolleyes I feel so bad for Sandra since she doesn't stan him but was there to accompany me. :( So we waited for a few hours just to see him for that few seconds and I swear we stood at the wrong side. Knmm. Okay, bye not going to stan you anymore.
After that the bus took us to Myeongdong, and it was the day EXODUS album was dropped. So went to get Sehun's Cover, and I got Suho's photocard and Baek's poster. zzzz Where is my sehun. zzzzz
Had shit loads of stuffs to pack and I seriously managed to stuff them all into my two luggages. /proud
So Day 9 was the last full day we had in Korea and it was raining. zzzz But its okay I had fun.

So I'm finally done with my exams and here to blog!
Been waking up late at around 1pm everyday and this is life man, done with my first year of Uni! We left the second apartment and decided to have brunch around the area before heading to Gangnam, and we found a buffet place for like what 5000 won?! I swear all the lunch prices at Jongno area is dirt cheap. At first we didn't believe that the buffet was 5000 each and we were like jinga? LOL. But the spread wasn't that big, we had cooked ourselves some ramen and took some other food, which mostly Sandra ate. HAHAHA. After our meal, we cabbed over to Gangnam which costs around 12400 won, so 6200won each. The apartment wasn't ready yet, so we left our luggages with the owner before heading to wander around the area. And the owner like handsome only. /hehe We hobo-ed at some mall before heading back to the apartment to rest awhile. Then we set off to express bus terminal! So express bus terminal was full of little stores, and shoes were super cheap there. 5000won for a pair of shoes. Sandra and I didn't believe it at first but when we believed that it was really 5000 each, we regretted and I only gotten one pair. HAHAHA. When super cheap stuffs were presented to us, we don't believe what is this. LOL. Bought more skincare and make up, and their efficiency was so good because they straight away refunded our taxes there unlike myeongdong. And they gave shit loads of samples, unlike myeongdong... So please buy your makeup/skincare from places other than myeongdong, you'll get treated better. Didn't took much photos for this day because half of the day is spent shopping. Till the next post, bye.

I should be studying but... oh well.
Too bored so I had to do something else. :)
Day 7 is our last day staying near Myeongdong. /cries
We are staying over at Gangnam for the last 2 days so this is the day to shop finish myeongdong.
Legit.
It was the rest's last day in Korea so we decided to spilt ways and meet only at night for our last dinner together in Korea at Haha's Restaurant.
Sandra and I went to Hongdae for some stylenanda~
It was quite confusing following some guide I found online but soon I found it yayy.
Their lipstick collection is crazy, and so pretty!
There was this photobooth, where we spammed photos like crazy.
Hogging the photobooth till there was a Q outside it. Ooops.
After that we decided to head to Edae, to buy more bags. heheheheh
There was nothing to do/shop in Hongdae anyways since it was still in the early afternoon.
We had this awesome cheese chicken over at Edae before heading back to the corner shop where we bought our bags the previous day.
And we found out that the bags cost 7000won instead of 8000. LOL.
So I grabbed another 4 more bags, I know its a lot but hey its not all for me.
And then we went back to our apartment to put away all the barangs and head back to myeongdong.
Went to get D&E's the beat goes on for Jowell, and with my hyukjae luck, I got hyukjae.
But okay Jowell wanted to use my hyukjae luck to get his photocard.
Okay hyukjae I get it. zzzz
There was the SMTOWN pop up store over at lotteyoung and it was the store I went back in 2012.
Nawww, nostalgic moment.
And found out that they sell the album cheaper there ZZZZ.
Met them at the 401 restaurant, and all I can say that... Woori Garden is better.
The taste, price and service is better at Woori Garden.
Having 401 is just hoping to bump into Haha. HAHAHAHA
And after all that we went to MCM flagship store. YAYYY.
Technically I'm like my family's personal shopper at MCM's.
I bought so much stuffs for them but I didn't get myself anything. /cries.
Regretted cause it's so much cheaper there and I was looking for a wallet then.
But it is okay cause my mom got me a prada wallet. /criesmyfirstprada....
And got the potato twister on the way back home, which was the last time we walked that street. :(
I miss you myeongdong...

Still on at my Korea Trip, it's becoming a burden but nope I will finish it.
Yes I will.
On day 6, we visit the Noryangjin Fish Market. Yayyy seafood.
To head to the market, just take the subway to Noryangjin Station (Seoul Subway Line 1), Exit 1.
And then cross this overhead bridge which will lead you to the market.
As usual, Me and Sandra were early and we waited for the rest for the nth time this trip.
Initially, we thought we were late because we were.
So we walked around to look for them thinking that they were already there.
Turns out that they're late...
Okay de, so we went in and holy the shit lot of seafood is in one place.
They were much cheaper as compared to Singapore and other seafood restaurants in Korea, as the market is a wholesale market.
We bought a lot, A LOT.
There will be people from restaurants 'helping' you to order the various seafood on the first level so that they can bring you over to their restaurant.
But we went to this restaurant which Julian recommended at the second floor.
After we were served our cooked seafood, which filled the whole table, we decided that we bought a lot. LMAO.
But we finished it, okay actually its Julian. Thanks Julian.
The meal each was 44200 won, including the cooking + seafood. The seafood was cheap actually, its just the cooking. zzz
After that we decided to head to Edae~
Edae grounds' so pretty but huge.
I can't imagine me studying there and running to my classes.
Nah, too far.
And we just spend our whole afternoon shopping. Oh my god.
Edae is so much under-rated and Hongdae is so much over-rated.
I prefer Edae as all the shops there are catered to the Ladies cause Edae is a women's university.
I spent like 188,560 won which was like $238.70 at Edae. Holy.
I mostly bought clothes, bags, wallets, socks, and A'pieu at Edae.
Tip: Find those corner shops to buy the bags.
I got 4 bags at 10,000 won each and 3 bags at 8000 won each at different stores,
which apparently sells all the same stuff.
We had like KFC at Edae LOL.
Because we were hungry and have decided to head to Hongdae for the sheep cafe dessert.
We wanted to take the subway but we went to the wrong station...
Okay, so we cabbed.
Me Julian and Christie were in a cab together, and the driver was so old...
His hands were trembling when he was driving.
And when we stop at a slope, the car will actually move backwards before moving forward.
I prayed for my life in that cab. /sighs
When we finally reach the cafe, I quote finally, the last order has closed.
Hen hao lo.
Anyways, I just stared at the sheep which was caged and I realised that Leeteuk came to that cafe for WGM. Leeteuk shi :(
We didn't order anything so we left to look at the street performance.
So the first group was like IDK how to explain their dancing.
There were 2 guys and a girl and the guys were dancing better than the girl holy.
They were dancing to 'Up and Down' by EXID.
I swear the song was everywhere at that time.
And they were going around the crowd to put their hands on people's shoulders to do the pelvis chorus part.
So I told Sandra that if they come over to me I'll dance with them.
They did so I did. LOL YOLO.
The guy was apparently was 'am-cho-ing' LOL.
And Sandra said my face was damn red after that AHHAHAHA.
We went to watch another 'group' which was just a guy dancing to BTS Boy in Luv.
Oi, I think I can dance better than you. Oh well.
So we left. HAHAHAHA

Labels: #joeytraveldiary, Seoul, South Korea, Travel, Visitkorea Korea Trip Day 5: Petite France, Nami Island We woke up in the morning before getting some Kimbap from Kimbap Geongjuk!!! Cheap and nice Kimbap (1500won) that filled us abit during our loooooong train ride to the station where we can take a bus to both Petite Franc and Nami Island. And again, the rest were LATE. So we waited for them in the cold at the Cheongpyeong Station.... Oh well. In the end, they took the express train by accident and they said they were so scared because they boarded the express train without express tickets. LOL We took the bus to Petite France, the bus trip was 5000won but it includes stops to Nami Island too. We paid entrance fee of 6000 and I can say that there is nothing inside Petite Franc. NOTHING MUCH TO DO. Not worth the entrance fee that you are paying TT Go Nami Island only if you do not have enough time. Also, never buy food inside Petite France. I bought waffle (2800won) and it was so hard... Christie bought chicken which had mould in them. EW. Since there was nothing much to do inside, we left after around 30mins or less than that. And we went to take the bus again which will bring us to the port where we can board the boat to Nami Island. We had some proper food outside of the port, CHEESE CHICKEN where we paid around 14000won each. When we are outside of the restaurant, I was like wow, the voices so familiar.. omg D&E. LOL And it was "Sweater and Jeans", was such a nice song to listen to when you're in the chilling weather of Korea. <3 And there was this bungee jump, which I regretted not going for TT /sobs Bought tickets to Nami Island (8000won), and the ride was so cold. LOL (Wind + Water + Weather) Good luck to those who are going to the Island in Winter. Nami Island was so prettyyyyyy. Bucket List unlocked. We spammed photos like crazy because the landscape was really nice! And we did a short commercial it was so funny and embarrassing. After that we did some shopping in Myeongdong (again), and we walked back to our apartment. I love this apartment's location man. Cannot beat woohoo. Till the next post, bye kamsahamida~ ♥
