Europe Trip Part 2: Belgium (Dinant, Liege, Maasmechelen Village), Luxembourg (Luxembourg City, Vianden) and Germany (Dusseldorf).
So this is the part where procrastination gets too real, where you have to blog finish about Europe and Dubai before you can blog about Taiwan. Hey, such a familiar case with Bandung. LMAO.
Day 6, 9 May: Belgium, Dinant
Day 7, 10 May: Belgium - Luxembourg, Luxembourg City
Day 8, 11 May:Vianden , Luxembourg - Belgium, Liege, Maasmechelen Village, Belgium - Germany, Dusseldorf
Day 9, 12 May: Dusseldorf, Kongsalee, Germany - Amsterdam.
So it's the sixth day and we spent it walking around Dinant. It's a really small city, and there isn't much tourists here; there is very limited things to do in Dinant. Wifi sucks in the hostel, we went walking around and decided to stay in the tourist information centre where they had strong wifi. /things we do for free wifi/ LOL Didn't had a good sleep on the first night in this hostel because there were drunk people knocking people's door + screaming and shouting on the streets. THEY NEED TO CALM TF DOWN BRO.
We decided to take a cable car up to the Dinant Castle, where we spent hours walking around. There's also some history exhibition in the castle, where they talk about how the castle is still staying strong from all the wars. Missing my castle grounds :(
It was quite hot over at Dinant, with 19 degrees and we decided to take the cruise around...
It was so hot, my head was hurting from the direct sun exposure, mehh. Had lunch in some restaurant for their wifi (again), before heading back to the hostel to pack our stuff and rest due to the lack of sleep. After dinner we went back to the restaurant where we had lunch to chill and use the wifi LOL.
The next day we drove to Luxembourg, one of my favourite cities because they had wifi everywhere.
Explored Luxembourg City, walked a lot and had lunch at Q quick, a fast food chain where they had cheap and nice churros.
Don't remember much but we went into this church for the first time in Europe and it had this Gothic feel.... Oh wells. Went shopping and bought 3 MAC lipsticks, time for me to stop buying lipsticks, the amount of lip products I have is crazy.
Our apartment was quite cui, me and my aunt had a super big room, which had like two queen bed and one single bed. Which was quite creepy actually. The lighting and all. And the door lock is damn weird, or maybe it's too heavy for me.
On the 8th day, we left Luxembourg and drove to Germany. On the way we went to Vianden Castle, which had better view at a distance due to the mist covering the castle.
We then went to take a luge to see more of Vianden, which they called it a chairlift. But when we reached the top, there was actually nothing much... LOL
We drove to Liege, just to see the longest stairs.... Recommended by my aunt... before driving to Massmechelen Village, aka outlet shopping. Didn't spent a lot here but bought a MK bag, which I have not used it till now LMAO.
Love the village, with it's vibes and layout. Not to mention the strong free wifi whoooop. And who in the right mind will provide Molton Brown hand soap in the toilet... Too baller them.
Spent like hours in the village tho I didn't buy anything even tho I feel that I should buy more in Belgium than London. Took a 3 hours drive to Germany, where we just KO-ed.
On day 9, we went for more shopping along Konigsallee, and I bought stuff from H&M which was super cheap. Like leather pants for 5 and 7 euros?!
After walking around, we drove back to Amsterdam for our last night before flying over to Milan and London.
Initially we booked this hotel, but when my aunt when in to check-in they told her that it is full... So we had to drive to another hotel in the area, which turn out to be not bad. At least this last minute hotel was so much better than our Dinant and Luxembourg apartments.
Yay done with the second part of my Europe trip! Third and last part will be about Milan and London, which we flew from Amsterdam and took public transport to explore this time. Bye
