First Driving Lesson

Had my first driving lesson today 🚗🚗🚗

I've got my PDL once I've passed my BTT, which was in June, and I only started to take lessons today.

Ooopsy, too lazy hehe.

Anyways, I've to head down to Eunos to meet my instructor, Mr Teo.

I imagined him to be in his 40s but he was like almost my grandpa's age, around 60.

Because his English was good over the phone, so wow.

We started talking about the basics, the gear clutch steering accelerator blahblahblah.

When I stepped in the car I thought it was a manual car lmao.

So he started talking about turning, which was what he's going to let me try in the first lesson.

And accelerating and stopping.

I found myself drifting off, I couldnt even concentrate wth.

When I was in the driver's seat I was super nervous.

Hey its my first time okay.

So we went around the carpark in rounds and rounds and rounds.

With turning (right only), accelerating and stopping.

I swear I couldnt feel the pedals, I'm so gg to change my shoes for driving.

And I couldnt bring myself to go above 20 so I kept my eyes on the meter.

The instructor kept telling me about keeping my eyes on the road infront.

Sorry cant help it.

I swear if I kept my eyes infront the meter will be like 4/5.

And about turning, that he said I used too much strength.

Okay fine.

After like 20 rounds of turning (no I didn't count), he said to turn out into the main road to let me try on the road.

I was like 'YOU SERIOUS' inside but of course I didnt show it.

The road was, dangerous.

Too all the cars who cut into my lane: burn you bitches

I kept moving left and right in the lane because I swear the lane is not straight.

You had one job of making the lane straight but it wasnt.

Wow.

The weather was terrible, I can feel my right arm and leg burning.

Stupid weather seriously.

I should have worn like long sleeves or something.

I was so nervous behind the wheel that I was gripping the wheel so tightly that my palms were sweating lmao.

In short, I went out on the road for my first lesson and I cant wait for the next lesson. /yayz/
